Our office in Chandrapur is located in Ghutkala Ward No.1. This is in the heart of Maharashtra’s industrial belt. If you’ve ever been to Chandrapur, you know it’s a place that’s all about minerals and hard work. Ashapura Minechem Ltd, Mumbai, has this setup here because it’s where the resources are. The 442402 area is quite busy with trucks and workers. Our office isn’t anything special to look at, just a functional space in the ward where we can keep track of everything. It gets incredibly hot here, one of the hottest places you’ll find, but we just get on with it. The office is our base for managing the local mining interests. We don't have a lot of bells and whistles. It's mostly just desks, some fans to keep the air moving, and plenty of paperwork. The people working here are locals who understand the terrain and the industry. We don't use big words to describe what we do. We just make sure the mining operations are handled correctly and that the logistics are sorted. It’s a gritty, honest kind of environment. We’ve been here for a while and we’re part of the ward’s daily life now. It’s a simple, no-nonsense workplace where the focus is always on the task at hand.
