Adivasi Sanskriti Foundation

The Adivasi Sanskriti Foundation is located in Kelgaon, specifically in Flat 104 of Building L 02 in Section 02. It is a residential-style building, so it doesn’t look like a typical business office from the outside. You have to go up to the first floor to find us. The flat is small but we have organized it to fit a few desks and some storage for our cultural materials. Kelgaon is a developing area, so there is always some construction noise in the background. We don't have a big sign on the main road, so you have to look for the block and flat numbers carefully. Inside, it feels more like a home than a workplace. We keep some traditional items on display to remind us of why we are here. Most of our visitors are people from the community who already know where we are located. We don’t really have set hours where someone is always at the front desk, but there is usually someone around during the day. We do a lot of our planning sitting around the kitchen table in the flat because it is the biggest table we have. It’s not a polished environment, but it serves its purpose for the foundation. If you are coming to visit, just buzz the intercom for 104. We are usually buried in some project or another but we are always happy to stop for a chat and some tea.
