If you know the Shiv Mandir in Bhisi, then you basically know where Aasha Foods is. We are right there in the village, near the temple. Being in Tehsil Chimur means things are a bit slower than the big cities, but we like it that way. Most of the time, we are busy preparing things in the back. It can get pretty crowded during the festivals when people come to the Mandir. We see a lot of familiar faces every single day. Some people just stop by to say hello while they’re out doing their chores. Running a food business in a village like this involves a lot of hands-on work. We don't have fancy equipment, just the stuff that works. Sometimes the supplies don't arrive on time because of the roads, so we have to adjust. It’s just how life goes here. We started small and we’ve stayed pretty much the same size since. The staff are all local people from around Bhisi, so we all know each other's families. It feels more like a big kitchen than a business most days. We focus on the cooking and making sure things taste like they should. Nothing too complicated about it. On rainy days, the smell of the ground and the food cooking is really something. We’re just glad to be a part of this community near the temple. It’s a good spot to be.
