Out in the UPSIDC Industrial Area Phase 3, you will find our units at An-34, 35, and 36 on Masuri Gulawati Road. This is where Indian Spice Oils Industries operates. The first thing you will notice when you get close to the gate is the smell. It is really strong—sometimes it is pepper, sometimes it is something sweeter like cumin, but it is always there. We spend our days extracting oils from different spices. It is a process that takes a lot of patience and some pretty heavy equipment. The industrial area is always busy with other factories, so there is a lot of truck traffic and noise on the main road. Inside our place, it is a mix of stainless steel pipes and people in aprons. It is not a clean-room laboratory like you might see in a movie; it is a real working factory. We have to be careful with the temperatures and the timing of the steam. Sometimes a batch doesn't go right, and we have to sit down and figure out why. That is just part of the job. Our team is a mix of people who have been here since Phase 3 was mostly empty and some newer faces. We do not go in for big meetings or long speeches. We just check the vats, monitor the pressure, and bottle the oils. It is a lot of standing.
