Out in Waluj, specifically at B-48 in the MIDC area, is where Yeshshree Press Comps is based. We are right in the middle of the manufacturing hub. Our work is all about press components. It’s loud because of the heavy presses we use to shape metal. You can hear the thud of the machines from the street sometimes. We have a lot of steel coming in and finished parts going out. The team here knows how to handle the equipment safely and efficiently. It’s not a desk job for most of us. We are on our feet, checking measurements and making sure the dies are set up correctly. The office part is just a few rooms where we handle the orders and the payroll. Waluj is a tough place to work because of the dust and the heat, but it’s where the industry is. We’ve been part of this industrial community for quite a while now. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We press metal into shapes that other companies need for their products. It’s basic, essential work. We take pride in the fact that we don't miss our deadlines. We have our routines, like the tea break in the morning when the machines are cooled down for a bit. It’s a simple, honest way to make a living, and we just keep at it day after day. Most of us have been friends for years. It’s a noisy life but it’s ours.
