Our small business, Yash Dyestuff Industries, is tucked away in Guliwala Compound on Suez Farm Road. Being in Beharampura means we are surrounded by a lot of other industrial setups, so the area is always buzzing with activity. We focus on making and supplying dyes. If you walk into our workspace, you will notice the smell of chemicals and the sight of various color batches being prepared. It is a messy job, and most of us have stained clothes and hands by the end of the shift. We have been in this compound for years and have seen many neighbors come and go. Our setup is quite simple with basic machinery and storage for the raw materials we use every day. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive office furniture. Instead, we put our energy into making sure the colors come out just the way they are supposed to. The road outside can get quite muddy when it rains, and the heavy trucks often block the entrance, but we manage to get our shipments out regardless. It is a straightforward business with no hidden extras. We talk to our customers directly and don't use any corporate jargon. It is just about getting the right shade for the right fabric. The days are long and the work is physical, but there is a certain satisfaction in seeing the final product ready to go. We are just local people doing what we know best in this part of town.
