Walia Anju Architect

H.No.286 in Sector -20A is where you will find us working. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s got that quiet, suburban feel during the day when everyone else is off at their own jobs. Walia Anju Architect is run right out of here. It’s basically a house that serves as an office too. We have a couple of large tables for the drafting work and a lot of bright lights so we can see what we are doing late into the evening. The garden outside probably needs a bit of weeding, but we usually spend too much time at our desks to actually get to it. You might hear the doorbell ring and it’s just the courier or someone delivering lunch from the local shop. We don’t have a staff of twenty people or anything like that. It’s a small, very focused operation. The walls are covered with sketches and notes pinned up with tape that's starting to peel at the edges. Sometimes the printer jams and we spend twenty minutes trying to fix it while complaining about how things worked better in the old days. It’s these little things that make up our workday. We like the fact that we aren't in a big, cold office building in the middle of a commercial park. Having a kitchen nearby for a quick snack or a cup of tea is a real plus for us. We just sit here, work on the projects we have, and try to keep things moving along steadily.
