Our office is located at 1005 on the ground floor in Sector 19B, Chandigarh. We are right near Manchanda Book Shop, which is a pretty well-known spot in this part of town. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just walk in without having to deal with stairs or elevators. The room isn't huge, but there is enough space for a couple of desks and some metal filing cabinets. We have a lot of folders stacked up because there is always some paperwork to deal with. The light from the street comes in through the front door when it's left open. Sometimes the neighbors from the shops nearby stop by just to say hello or ask for a glass of water. It’s a busy little area, so there is always the sound of scooters and cars passing by outside. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just a few notices and maybe a clock that ticks a bit too loud. The floor is made of that old grey stone that stays cool even when it’s very hot outside. We spend most of our day sitting at the desks, typing things out or talking to people who come in looking for help with various services. It’s a practical workspace and we’ve been in this Sector 19 location for quite a while now. We keep a small broom in the corner to sweep out the dust that blows in.
