We are Vij Constructions Ltd up here in Jammu. Our spot is in Sainik Colony. It's a nice enough area, mostly quiet except when we've got the trucks moving. Jammu is a different kind of place to work, especially with the weather and the hills, but we make it work. We’ve been based in Sainik Colony for some time now. Dealing with construction in J&K means you have to be ready for anything. We handle the local building needs. There isn't a lot of fluff here. We just show up and do what needs doing. The office is basically where we drink tea and figure out the schedules for the week. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world, just want to do decent work for the people around here. Being in Jammu and Kashmir, things move at their own pace sometimes. We're used to that. Sainik Colony is a good landmark for us. If people need us, they know where to find the office. It's a practical setup. We don't spend money on fancy signs. Just a board with Vij Constructions Ltd on it. Most of our work comes from people just knowing who we are. It stays pretty busy, which is good for us. We deal with the cold in winter and the heat in summer, and just keep the construction projects moving as best as we can. There is always a lot of dust, but that is how it is.
