Vida Design Lab (architecture And Interior Design)

Vida Design Lab is located at number 201 in Sector 35 A, right in the heart of Chandigarh. We do architecture and interior design work, but we aren't the type to wear suits and give long presentations. Our space in Sector 35 is where all the ideas happen. It is often a mess of blueprints and material samples, but we know where everything is. Being in Chandigarh means we are surrounded by interesting buildings, which is nice for people in our line of work. We chose this spot because it is central and easy for everyone to get to. There are a few of us here, and we mostly just keep our heads down and work. We don't have a fancy mission statement written on the wall. We just try to figure out how to make spaces work better for the people using them. Sometimes we argue about where a wall should go or what color a room should be, but it’s all part of the daily process. We use a lot of pencils and rulers, and the coffee machine is always running. If you walk into 201, you’ll see us huddled around a desk or looking at a screen. It’s not a polished corporate environment at all. It’s just a lab where we try things out. We like being in Sector 35 and being part of the local scene here. We’re just regular people trying to design good things.
