Venus Radios

You can find us at Booth No-4 in the inner market of Sector 18d. We’re quite close to Tagore Theatre, which is a good landmark if you’re getting lost. The shop is small, just a booth really, so space is at a premium. Venus Radios has been around this part of Chandigarh for a long time. People usually stop by when they’re walking through the market or after seeing a show nearby. It’s a cozy spot, though it gets a bit crowded when more than two people are inside at once. We have radios and various electronics tucked into every corner. It’s not one of those big, bright showrooms you see in the malls. It’s more of a traditional shop where things are stacked up and you have to ask where something is. We spend a lot of time chatting with the regulars who have been coming here for years. The market can be quite nice in the evenings when the lights come on, though the winters get pretty chilly since the booth isn't very well insulated. We don’t have any fancy staff in uniforms or anything like that. It’s just us, sitting behind the counter, fixing things or helping someone pick out a gadget. It’s nothing like those big modern shops. We like the inner market vibe. It feels like a small community where everyone knows everyone else. We just keep things running and try to be helpful.
