Pnt Agencies operates out of the basement at SCO 7 on Patiala Road. It is right near the Dena Bank, so most people use that as a guide when they are trying to find the entrance. Walking down the stairs into the basement, you leave the noise of Patiala Road behind. It stays a bit cooler down here, which is nice when the summer heat really hits the pavement outside. The space is filled with stacks of papers and various items we are moving for our clients. It’s not a polished showroom by any means. We have some old wooden desks and chairs that have seen better days, but they serve their purpose just fine. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through ledgers. The lighting is a bit dim compared to the shops at street level, but we have enough lamps to see what we are doing. You can hear the rumble of the traffic overhead sometimes, especially when the heavy trucks pass by on their way out of town. We mostly deal with regular customers who have been coming to us for years. They know to just walk down and say hello. There’s usually a thermos of tea somewhere and a bit of chatter about the local news. We don't put much stock in being fancy. We just get the paperwork sorted and the agencies running as they should.
