Tour Inn

Our office is right here in Chandigarh, which has been our home for a long time. Tour Inn is not one of those massive travel companies you see on the news. We are just a local operation where we help people find their way around the city or find a decent place to stay for the night. The office is very basic with just a few chairs and a wooden desk where we keep all the paperwork. Chandigarh is a planned city, but travel can still get a bit confusing if you are not from this part of the country. We spend a lot of our time talking to visitors and explaining which sectors are which. It involves a lot of phone calls and writing down names in our registers. Sometimes the computer stays on late into the night when things get busy during the festival season. We started this because we knew the local roads well and had some space to help folks out. It is just a regular business run by normal people. We do not have those shiny brochures with the fake photos in them. Most of what we do is just sorting out the logistics so people can actually enjoy their time here. Sometimes we make small mistakes like forgetting to print a receipt immediately, but we always make it right in the end. It is a bit of a small operation, but it keeps us on our feet. We like the neighborhood we are in and the people we meet.
