Thapa Amrisha Architect

Our office is on the second floor of House No.2234 in Sector 15C. Thapa Amrisha Architect is what we go by. It’s more of a home-turned-office vibe than anything else, which makes it feel a bit more relaxed than those big glass towers downtown. You have to walk up the stairs, and sometimes the light in the hallway is out, but we’re always there. We have sketches pinned to the walls and books piled up on the floor because the shelves are already full. We spend a lot of time talking about how to make a room feel right without spending a fortune. It’s mostly just sitting around a computer and moving lines back and forth until they look correct. We don’t have a receptionist, so we just shout from the back room if we hear the door open. Sector 15C is a decent place to be, fairly quiet during the day so we can actually focus. We drink a lot of tea while we work. It’s not a polished environment, and we like it that way. Real work happens in places that look a bit lived-in. We don’t put on any acts here. If you come by, you’ll see us exactly as we are, probably buried under a pile of papers or looking for a lost ruler. It's just two of us most days, so we keep things pretty informal and don't worry about corporate rules. We just focus on the drawings we have on the table.
