Our place is in Village and Post Nanhera Gurjar, which is in the Saharanpur district of Uttar Pradesh. Being out here means we are a bit away from the main city noise, which is nice. It’s a rural setting, so things move at a different pace than in the big metros. We handle construction equipment and parts from this office. The building itself is simple and fits in with the local surroundings. We know most of the people around here. Many of our staff come from the nearby villages. We don’t have a website that looks like a tech company’s. We just have our office and our storage area. Sometimes the roads get muddy during the rainy season, making it a bit tough for the trucks. But we manage. We spend our mornings checking inventory and talking to customers who need equipment for their local projects. It’s a very practical environment. There aren't many frills here. We have some wooden chairs and a few sturdy tables. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day while we go over the books. It’s the kind of place where you can just walk in and talk to someone. We don’t use fancy titles or have complicated rules. We just do our bit to keep the construction business going in this part of UP. It’s a long way from the big cities, and we like it that way. It's just a regular workplace where we get through our daily lists.
