Surindera Singh Bhatti Architect

I’ve been working out of 3314 in Sector 15-D for a long time. This is where Surindera Singh Bhatti Architect is based. It is more of a personal setup than a big firm. My desk is usually a mountain of blueprints, notebooks, and half-empty pens. Sector 15-D is a quiet residential part of the city, which I like because it lets me focus on the drawings without too much noise from the street. I don’t have a whole team of people running around. Usually, it’s just me and maybe an assistant or two helping with the technical bits. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to ask a quick question about a renovation or a new gate they want to put up. I’ve seen kids grow up in this area and then come back to me when they’re building their own homes. It’s that kind of place. I don't use any high-tech marketing tools or have a fancy website with stock photos. The work I do is right here on the table. Sometimes I stay up late finishing a plan because the ideas finally started flowing. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s a good one. You get to see things being built from nothing, and that is enough for me. Most of my tools are old-school, though I do use the computer when I have to. It takes time to get the details right, but I don't mind the slow pace as long as the work is solid.
