Sunder Sham Industries

We are located at Plot No-208/1 in Sherpur Khurd. If you go down Street No. 2, right behind the Mohandai Cancer Hospital, you will see our place. Sunder Sham Industries isn't a very large factory, but we keep ourselves busy. Being behind a hospital means we try to keep the noise levels down as much as we can, but it’s still an industrial area. The street is a bit narrow, so when big delivery trucks come through, everything kind of stops for a minute. Inside, we’ve got our machinery set up and there is usually someone working on a repair or running a batch of products. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a while and we know the local guys who work in the other plots. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you walk in, you’ll probably just see one of us covered in a bit of grease or holding a wrench. We spend a lot of our time just maintaining the equipment because if something breaks, the whole day is wasted. We drink a lot of chai during the day to keep going. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s steady work and we take a bit of pride in what we manage to get done. We just open up early, do what needs doing, and head home once the sun goes down. It’s a decent life for all of us here in Sherpur.
