Sk Hospital

Our hospital is right across from the District Court and very close to the bus stand in Kharar. It’s a very active spot because of all the people coming and going for court cases or catching buses to the next town. We get a lot of walk-ins, people who just happened to be nearby and needed a doctor right away. The building has been here for a while, and it shows its age in some spots, but it’s solid and does the job. Inside, it’s a mix of different departments, but mostly we deal with general medicine and some emergencies. The noise from the bus stand can be a lot sometimes, especially when the drivers are honking, but we just keep the windows shut and focus on the patients. We have a variety of rooms for people staying overnight, and the nurses are usually busy running between floors. It’s not a luxury hotel; it’s a place for getting treated and going home. We don't have a PR department or a marketing budget. We just have doctors who show up for their shifts and staff who keep the place running. It’s often hectic, especially during the day when the court is in session and the street is packed. We just try to manage the crowd and make sure the people who are actually sick get seen first. It is just the local hospital for the Kharar area, doing what we can to handle the various cases.
