Singh Jaskirat Architect

Singh Jaskirat Architect is based out of H.No.3467 on the first floor in Sector -35D. It’s a residential-feeling area, which makes the office feel a bit more relaxed than those big downtown glass towers. We have been working from this floor for some time now. There’s usually a lot of paper everywhere—sketches, site plans, and those long permit forms that take forever to fill out. Being an architect means spending a lot of time thinking about how spaces work, but also a lot of time on the phone. We deal with all the local stuff here. It’s just how it is when you're a small local business. The walk up to the first floor is a good way to wake up in the morning. We don’t have a lot of staff, so when you call, you usually get one of us directly. It’s not a polished corporate office. We have old rulers, pencils, and dusty models sitting on the shelves in the back. Sometimes we get stuck on a design for hours, and other times the whole thing just comes together fast. We just take it one project at a time. Sector 35D is a decent place to be. It’s quiet enough that we can actually get some real drawing done without too many distractions from the street. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a while and we plan to stay right here.
