About Simranjit Singh Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Chandigarh
I’m located at House Number 3101 in Phase-7, Sas Nagar. I’ve been working as an architect in this area for quite a while now. My office is basically a dedicated room in the house where I keep all my drafting tools and my computer. It’s a quiet place to work, which is good because I need to focus on the details of the plans I draw. Sas Nagar is a nice area, and being in Phase-7 means I’m pretty central to everything. Most of my day is spent drawing up floor plans or talking to people about their house renovations. I don’t have a big team or a flashy office in a commercial building. It’s just me. I handle the meetings, the drawings, and the site visits myself. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming when three people call at once, but I manage to get through it. I like to keep things simple and direct. If a plan isn't going to work, I’ll say so. Architecture is a lot of back and forth between what someone wants and what is actually possible to build. I spend a lot of time at construction sites making sure things are going according to the drawings. It can get muddy and loud, but it’s part of the job. When I’m not on site, I’m back at my desk with a cup of tea, trying to finish the next set of blueprints for a client.
