Shree Ganesh

Our place, Shree Ganesh, is situated on Circular Road in Gidderbaha. We are right near the HDFC Bank, which makes it very easy for people to find us when they are out doing their errands. It’s a busy stretch of road, especially in the mornings. There’s always cars and bikes parked haphazardly out front. We’ve been at this location for many years. The shop is filled with all sorts of things on the shelves. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have worked together for a long time. We open up early and sweep the sidewalk. The bank security guard usually waves hello when he starts his shift. Inside, it’s a bit cramped with all the stock we keep. We use every bit of shelf space we have, even the high ones where we need a ladder. It’s a bit dim inside, but we like the atmosphere. We know most of the customers who walk through the door by their names and we know what they usually need. Gidderbaha is the kind of town where news travels fast, so we hear everything. We spend our days helping people and chatting about what is going on in the neighborhood. Circular Road is the main path through town, so there is always something interesting to see from the front door. We aren't doing anything fancy here. It’s just honest work in a very familiar spot.
