Down here in Muzaffarpur, we set up Shoretoshore Logistics India Ltd in the Umesh Nagar area. We are right by Zeromile, which is a busy spot where everyone seems to be passing through. If you know Muzaffarpur, you know how hectic the traffic can get around the junction. Our office is just a practical space where we manage the logistics stuff. There is always a bit of noise from the main road, but we are used to the honking and the dust. We spend a lot of time talking to drivers and checking manifests. It is not a glamorous job, just moving things from one place to another. Some of us have lived in Bihar our whole lives, so we know the shortcuts and the trouble spots on the roads. The office has a few chairs and a lot of files. We do not spend money on fancy decorations because it does not help the trucks move any faster. On slow afternoons, we just sit and talk about whatever is happening in town. It is a honest living. We see a lot of different people coming through Zeromile every day. We just try to stay organized and get the paperwork sorted so the goods do not get stuck. It is just a regular group of people working hard in a busy part of town. That is how we do things here.
