Sharma Ayurvedic Clinic

I’ve been here at Sharma Ayurvedic Clinic in Kajheri for quite a while now. If you know Sector 52 in Chandigarh, we’re right at Shop-2, just a short walk from the Raj Hans Hotel. The mornings usually start with the smell of different oils and dried herbs. It’s not a fancy place, just a simple clinic where we try to help people who come through the door. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially with the hotel guests moving around, but inside it stays relatively quiet. I spend a lot of time organizing jars and talking to folks about their aches or whatever is bothering them. It’s funny how many people get lost trying to find us the first time, even though we are right by the main landmark. I usually tell them to look for the hotel and then turn. Dealing with traditional stuff takes time, and I don't like to rush things. It's just how it goes here. The fan hums in the background and we just keep at it day after day. Most of our regulars are from the nearby blocks, though we see some new faces too. It’s just a normal part of the neighborhood life. I don’t really have a big speech about what we do, we just open up in the morning and do the work until it’s time to close. It’s a bit dusty sometimes because of the road, but that’s Chandigarh for you. It’s decent enough work for us.
