Door N Windows

We have been running this shop from the second floor of SCO 266 in Sector 35-D for quite some time. As the name says, we mostly deal with doors and windows. It’s a lot of measuring and talking to people about frames and glass types. The office isn't very large, so we have samples tucked into every corner. Sometimes it’s hard to move around without bumping into a window frame. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers or out at job sites making sure things fit right. It’s a hands-on kind of business. We don't have a fancy showroom with lights and music, just the actual products that people can touch and see. The stairs up to the second floor can be a bit of a workout, especially if we are carrying something small up. We are right there in the 35-D market, so it’s easy for people to stop by. We just do the work as it comes in. There’s no big corporate strategy here, just us making sure the windows shut properly and the doors don’t creak. Some days are slow and we just sit around and talk, and other days we can’t keep up with the orders. It’s a simple life, and we like being part of the local neighborhood here in Chandigarh. We just show up every morning, open the door, and see what the day brings us.
