We are located in Sector 28C of Chandigarh, right at house number 2151. Being near the Motor Market is handy because if a car needs a quick fix, we are already right there. It’s a lot of driving, as you can imagine. We spend most of our time behind the wheel or waiting for the phone to ring. The office is just a small room with a couple of chairs and a lot of car keys. We know the roads of Chandigarh like the back of our hands, even with all the new traffic lights. Some days it is just taking people to the station, other days it is long trips out of town. We keep the cars as clean as we can, but with passengers coming and going, it’s a constant task. You meet all sorts of people in this job. Some want to talk the whole way, others just want to sleep. We don't have a big fleet, just a few reliable cars that get the job done. The Motor Market area is always loud and crowded, so there is never a dull moment. We grab tea from the corner stall between trips. It’s a lot of sitting and a lot of steering. We’ve been at this sector for quite a while now and the regulars know where to find us. It’s just about getting people where they need to go on time. We usually have a newspaper on the dashboard while we wait.
