We’ve been here at Shop No. 193 in Sector- 28 D for a long time now. It’s a family thing, just like the name says, Sohan Lal Sons. Most mornings start with unlocking the shutters and getting the dust off the counters. It gets pretty busy around here in the afternoons when people are out and about in the sector. We don’t really do anything fancy, just run the shop and talk to whoever walks in. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a break. The shop isn't huge but it fits everything we need to keep things going day to day. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, new buildings going up and neighbors moving in and out. It’s a quiet spot most of the time though. Usually, it's just us handling the orders and making sure everything is in its place. People know the address pretty well by now. If you’re walking through Sector- 28 D, you probably pass us all the time without thinking much of it. We keep the doors open until late evening most days. It’s just how we work. My brothers and I take turns being behind the counter. There’s always some paperwork or stock to count, but we mostly just stay focused on what’s right in front of us. It’s a simple life running a shop like this, nothing too complicated about it. We just show up every day and do what needs doing until it's time to lock up again.
