The S.D.O office is located on College Road in Santnagar, Gurdaspur. We are quite close to the Gurdwara, which is a major landmark in this part of Punjab. Our location makes it easy for local residents to drop by when they need to speak with us. The office is a modest setup on a busy road where there is always something going on. We have a simple front door and a few desks inside where we manage the daily tasks. It isn't a very large space, but we have enough room for the essential paperwork and a place for visitors to sit. College Road is usually full of students and shoppers, so it is a lively area to be based in. We don't have any big signs or fancy decorations, just the name on the door so people know they are in the right place. Most of our day is spent dealing with the routine work that comes through Gurdaspur. We try to keep things moving along without much delay. It is just a handful of us working here, and we have known each other for a long time. There is no corporate talk or complicated management tiers here. If you have a question, you just ask whoever is behind the desk. We are just local people doing our jobs and helping out the community in Santnagar as best as we can every day. We just focus on the paperwork and getting things handled properly.
