Sawhney Sargun Architect

I've been working out of this spot in Sector 9C for a while now. It's just me and a small team dealing with blueprints and site visits most days. Our office at 246 isn't fancy, but it gets the job done when we need to sit down and figure out floor plans. Being an architect here means you see a lot of different projects, some big and some just small home fixes. We spend a lot of time looking at drawings and then going out to see if things are actually being built right. It's dusty work sometimes. People stop by to ask about permits or how to change a wall, and we just give it to them straight. There’s always a pile of rolls on the desk and coffee getting cold. We don't really do the big fancy presentations you see on TV. Usually, it's just us sketching things out and making sure the measurements fit the space. Sometimes the weather makes site visits a pain, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit from our windows. If someone needs a plan drawn up, they usually just find us here. We keep regular hours mostly, unless a project is running behind and we have to stay late to finish up the technical details. It's a living, and we enjoy the puzzle of it all. It works out well for us.
