Sandeep Rai

Sandeep Rai is located at Mohali 7. It’s a straightforward address for a straightforward business. We operate out of a small space that feels more like a home than an office. There’s a garden out front that sometimes gets overgrown when we get too busy with our projects. Inside, the walls are painted a simple white and there are plenty of windows to let the light in. We do a lot of our planning here on a big wooden table that has seen a lot of use. It’s got scratches and ink stains all over it. We don't go in for fancy furniture or expensive decor. We just need a place to sit and think. The neighborhood around Mohali 7 is fairly quiet, which helps when we are trying to concentrate on a difficult layout. We usually have a few different projects going at once, so there are always papers moving around. It’s just us doing the work, no big staff or middle managers. When you call, you talk to the person actually doing the drawing. We like it that way because it keeps things clear and easy to understand. It’s a modest way to run a business but it has worked for us so far. We just keep doing what we know how to do without any fuss. The old filing cabinet in the corner is jammed shut and we haven't opened it in years.
