Salik

The office for Salik is located in Sector 44. We are at number 3470 on the 13th C Cross. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you don’t know the turns. We’ve been in this part of the sector for a good bit now. It’s a residential-feeling area but with businesses tucked into the corners. Our place is quite small and we have a lot of stuff crammed into it. There are books on shelves that haven't been touched in years and a few computers that are always running. We spend our days mostly looking at designs and talking to people about what they want to build. The 13th C Cross can be a bit quiet in the afternoons, which is nice for getting work done. We don't really do the whole polished business thing. We wear regular clothes and our desks are usually messy with pencils and half-eaten lunches. People stop by when they need something and we usually just have a seat and talk it through. It’s a very local way of doing things. We know the neighbors and the guy who sells tea at the corner. It feels like a part of the community rather than a big firm. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes our way. The floor is usually covered in wood shavings or dust from various site samples we bring back.
