About Sadhu Ram Saini Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Chandigarh
I run my architecture office out of H.No.5007/I in the Modren Complex in Manimajra. It’s a quiet area for the most part, which helps when I need to focus on drawing. I’ve been an architect for quite a while and have seen Manimajra grow and change over the years. My setup is pretty straightforward. I have my drafting table and my computer, and I spend most of my day working on residential plans. People from the complex and the surrounding parts of the U.T. come to me when they want to add a room or build something new. I don't have a big corporate office with glass walls; it’s just a regular space where I can think and work. Sometimes the neighbors pop in to ask a quick question about a wall or a roof. I try to be helpful. The paperwork for the local council can be a bit of a chore, but I know the process well enough by now. I handle the measurements, the structural layouts, and all the little details that go into a set of blueprints. It is steady work. I like the routine of it. Getting the lines exactly right on a page takes patience, but I’ve always enjoyed that part of the job. It feels good to see a plan I drew actually get built into a real house. Most days are just me and the sounds of the neighborhood outside.
