S M Graphics

Up on the 2nd floor of Sco-2445-46 in Sec-22C, you will find S M Graphics. Being in Sector-22 means there is a lot of traffic around, but since we are on the second floor, it stays a little quieter than the street level. We have large windows that let in some light, which helps when we are looking at designs on the screens all day. The office has a mix of old furniture and some computers that we keep running. It’s not a fancy design studio like you see in magazines. It’s more of a practical workshop where we get things ready for print. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. We have piles of sample books and color charts scattered around the desks. It can look a bit messy to someone walking in for the first time, but we know exactly where everything is. The coffee shop downstairs is where we usually grab a quick bite. Working in Sec-22C has its own rhythm. We deal with all sorts of requests, some simple and some that take a lot of time. We just take it one day at a time. The air feels a bit different up here compared to the ground floor. We’ve grown fond of this little corner of the sector over the years we've been here.
