We've been around Rahargora for a bit now. Jamshedpur is home for us, and construction is just what we do to get by. It is dusty work, and my clothes are always covered in grit, but someone has to do it. We mostly stick to local projects in the East Singhbhum area. We don’t have one of those big offices with fancy glass doors and bright lights. It is just a small spot near the post office where we keep the ledger and some tools. People around here know us by name, which is how we like it. Usually, it is just me and a couple of guys on the site most days. Sometimes the weather out here gets in the way of the schedule, and we have to pause the work, but we eventually get the walls up. It is not a glamorous life at all. There is a lot of bricks, cement, and trying to figure out the best way to lay things out. We handle the basic paperwork too so the owners don't have to worry. My uncle used to do something similar years ago, and I just ended up keeping it going. We don't build those massive skyscrapers you see in the city. Just houses and some sheds for folks who need a bit more space. If you walk past the Rahargora post, you will see our board. It is getting a bit faded from the sun now. We try to keep things very simple and avoid overcomplicating the plans. People just want a roof that doesn't leak when it rains.
