Retired As S.D.E. Civil Engineer

My name is a bit long but I basically worked as an S.D.E. Civil Engineer until I retired. Now I am settled at House Number 94 in Giani Zail Singh Nagar. This is in Ropar, Punjab. It’s a quiet spot and I like it here. Being a civil engineer for so many years, I know a lot about how houses are put together, so I keep my own place in good shape. Ropar is a nice town, not too big and not too small. I have been in India all my life and moving to this part of Punjab for my retirement felt right. I don't do much engineering work these days. I’m mostly just looking after my own affairs and spending time with people in the neighborhood. Giani Zail Singh Nagar is a decent area to live in. I’m not a big company or anything, just a retired professional living in his own home. Sometimes I see things on the road that make me think like an engineer again, but then I remember I don't have to fix them anymore. Life is fairly straightforward. I wake up, have my tea, and see what the day brings. I’m putting this info here just to have a record of where I am. It’s a plain life but I’ve earned it after all those years of work.
