My office is located at House Number 2651 in Sector-19-C. It’s a quiet spot, and I’ve been practicing architecture from here for quite some time. I don’t believe in those big flashy offices you see in the city center. I prefer being where the houses are. People from the sector often drop by just to ask a quick question about a wall or a roof leak before they even think about hiring an architect. I don’t mind. It’s part of being in the neighborhood. My workspace is full of old books and rolls of tracing paper. I still use a drafting table for a lot of my initial thinking. I think you get a better feel for the scale that way. I handle mostly residential work, helping families figure out how to use their space better. Maybe the kids are growing up and need their own rooms, or someone needs a home office now. I take these small things seriously. It’s not just a job; it’s where people live their lives. I try to keep my fees reasonable because I know how expensive building materials have become lately. I’m usually here from ten to six, but sometimes I’m out at a municipal office trying to get plans cleared. It’s a lot of paperwork, but it’s part of the deal. If you see the scooter parked outside, I’m probably in there working on something.
