Up here in Chandigarh, we are tucked away in Dashmesh Nagar, which is over in Naya Gaon. We are pretty close to the Punjab Engineering College, so there are always students and people moving about the area. This office at 405-B is where we keep things running for the Chandigarh side of the steel business. It’s a different world from the big plants down south, but we do our bit. The weather gets really cold in the winter, so we usually have a heater tucked under a desk somewhere. It’s not a huge place, just a simple office setup where we deal with the local logistics and coordination. We have some files, a few old chairs, and a lot of work to get through. It’s a bit of a climb to find us if you aren’t used to the layout of Mohali district, but we like it here. We aren't about big speeches or fancy presentations. We just handle the steel plant’s needs in this region and try to stay on top of the schedule. Most days it’s just the sound of typing and the occasional tea break. It’s practical and straightforward, just like the people who work here. We’ve been at this location for a while now and everyone in the neighborhood knows who we are. It’s a steady job in a busy part of town and we make sure the records are kept right every single day.
