Rare Earth Magnetics

Our business, Rare Earth Magnetics, is located at 1051 in the Industrial Area, Phase-II. If you know the area, you know it’s full of warehouses and workshops. We fit right in. Our space is mostly taken up by the materials we work with and the tools we use every day. It’s not the cleanest place in the world—there’s always a bit of metal dust or grease around—but it’s a working shop. We spend most of our hours out on the floor rather than sitting at desks. It gets pretty loud when the machines are running, so we use a lot of hand signals to talk to each other. We’ve been in Phase-II for quite a few years now. The neighbors are all doing similar industrial work, so we often help each other out if someone needs a tool or a hand with a heavy load. It’s a no-nonsense kind of environment. We don't have a website that’s updated or any fancy brochures. We just do the work that comes in and try to do it right. The office part is just a small corner with a desk and a phone that rings more than we’d like. Usually, we’re too busy with our hands to answer it right away. It’s a tiring job but it’s what we know. We close up the shutters at the end of the day and head home. That is about it for us.
