We are located at House Number 234 in Sector-22 A, which is a fairly easy place to find once you’re in the neighborhood. Ram Parkash started this practice quite a while ago, and we’ve stayed in this same house ever since. It’s basically a converted living space that now holds several large desks and a whole lot of filing cabinets. The cabinets are jammed full of drawings for houses all over this area. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that; people usually hear about us through word of mouth from their neighbors. The atmosphere inside is pretty relaxed. We might be wearing old sweaters and sipping tea while we argue about where a staircase should fit into a tight floor plan. There’s no dress code here, and the office dog usually spends the afternoon sleeping under one of the drafting tables. We do a lot of small-scale stuff, like house extensions or checking on site progress for local families. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. The walls are a bit yellowed from age, and the floor tiles are worn down in the spots where we move our chairs back and forth. It’s just a regular place where real work gets done without any unnecessary polish or corporate talk. We like it that way because it makes us feel connected to the people around us.
