Raja Forgings & Gears Ltd.

We are over at Sco 860 in the Shivalik Enclave part of Manimajra. Raja Forgings & Gears Ltd. has been sitting here for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, mostly because of where we are situated in the enclave. If you walk inside, it’s not exactly quiet. The hammers and the gear cutting machines make a lot of noise throughout the day. We don’t really have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It’s mostly just the workshop floor and a small corner where we keep the paperwork. Most of the guys here have been working with metal for years. They know how it feels when a piece isn’t coming out right just by the sound the machine makes. Manimajra can get pretty crowded during the middle of the day, so getting stuff delivered can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We just try to get the orders done and out the door. It’s a lot of heat and grease, honestly. Some days the fans don’t do much, especially in June. But that’s just how it is when you’re doing forgings. We don’t spend much time worrying about the office looking perfect. As long as the gears are shaped right and the metal is strong, we’re doing okay. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep up with the work coming in from the neighborhood and beyond.
