The office is at 5688 in Sector-38 West. It is a residential neighborhood, so it stays pretty quiet, which is good for the kind of work we do. There isn't a big team or a fancy office suite. It is just us and the drawing boards. We spend a lot of time on the computer, but we still like to use physical scales and pencils for the early sketches. Sector-38 West feels like a good place to be based. We are not trying to be the biggest firm in the city. We just want to do a decent job on the projects we have in front of us. The shelves are full of old samples of granite and wood that have been there for years. We usually have a lot of drawings spread out over the floor because there is not enough table space. Clients come over and we sit and look at the plans together. It is a very informal way of working. We do not wear suits or use a lot of jargon. If a wall should not go somewhere, we just say so. It is about being honest about what works in a house and what does not. Most of our time is spent on the phone or at site visits, checking if the builders are following the plans we gave them. It is a lot of routine, but every project has its own set of weird issues to solve. That is just life at 5688.
