Planet Ayurveda

Our setup is at 3604 in Sector 22, right on the 2nd Cross. Planet Ayurveda has been here for a while now. The building isn’t very new, and the stairs can be a bit steep if you aren’t expecting them. We have a lot of jars and bottles of herbs all over the place. It smells like turmeric and dried leaves most of the time. Some people like the smell, and others find it a bit strong. We don’t really mind either way. It’s just how it is when you work with these things daily. The neighborhood is usually pretty lively. There’s a lot of foot traffic and people coming through the 2nd Cross in Sector 22. We spend a lot of time talking to folks about what they’re looking for. It’s not a quick process. We like to take our time and listen to what they have to say. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and we can’t get to it fast enough. We aren’t a big corporation with a call center or anything. It’s just a few of us here doing the work. We hand-pack a lot of the items ourselves in the back. It takes time and sometimes we get behind on the paperwork. But we eventually catch up at the end of the week. It’s a bit of a messy process but it feels more real that way. We just keep doing what we’ve always done in this sector.
