Pawan Aggarwal

My name is Pawan Aggarwal and I operate out of Sector 32 Phase-2 in the G I D C area of Vatva. My place is at unit 295. If you've ever been to Vatva, you know it's a lot of industrial activity and big trucks moving around. I’ve been here for many years. I do various trade and business services from this location. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place. I don't have a receptionist or a lobby for people to wait in. Usually, I'm just in the back or out meeting people at their own sites. The air in G I D C is always a bit heavy with the smell of manufacturing and chemicals. You get used to it after a few weeks. My office is just a desk, a couple of chairs, and a lot of notebooks. I prefer writing things down by hand in my ledgers. It feels more real and reliable that way. I deal with a lot of local suppliers and some guys from out of town who need things moved or sourced. It’s a lot of coordination on the phone. Sometimes things are late, sometimes they’re early. I just try to manage it all without too much stress. It’s a one-man show for the most part, though I have a guy who helps with the cleaning. I like being my own boss even if it means long hours every week. Vatva is a good spot for this kind of thing. It’s central to all the industry. I’ll probably be here until I retire and close up shop.
