Patient Care Ambulance

Our office is located at House No 404 on the top floor in Phase 2, Mohali. Since we are an ambulance service, we are mostly out on the road rather than sitting in the office. The top floor is where we handle the calls and coordinate where the drivers need to go next. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, but it gives us a good view of the street so we can see when the vehicles are coming back. The room is filled with chargers for radios and phones, and there’s usually a map of the city pinned to the wall with some coffee stains on the edges. We don't have fancy furniture or a big sign. It’s a practical space for a job that doesn't stop. We take turns sleeping on a small cot in the corner during the night shifts. The neighbors are used to the sound of our engines starting up at odd hours. We don't try to sound like a big corporation because we aren't one. It’s just a small group of us trying to make sure the ambulances are clean and ready to go as soon as the phone rings. Sometimes the rain makes the roof leak a little near the window, so we keep a bucket there. It’s just part of being in an older building in Phase 2. We keep things simple.
