Panjwani Architects. Our office is in Sector 19, right on Shirdi Sai Baba Temple Road. You can’t miss it if you know where the temple is. We are in the Cambridge Layout, number 1017. It’s a nice part of town, though the road gets very crowded on festival days and weekends. We have a lot of plants in the office to make it feel less like a basement workspace. It’s just a few of us working here. We focus on getting the designs right for the clients. A lot of our day is spent talking to engineers and checking on local regulations. It’s not the most exciting part of the job, but it has to be done to avoid trouble. We have a big table in the middle for meetings and lunch. Sometimes we have snacks while we look at floor plans and argue about window placement. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so we see a lot of families walking by the window. We’ve handled all sorts of projects over the years. Some are small kitchen extensions, others are completely new builds from the ground up. We don't have a receptionist, so one of us usually has to jump up when the door opens. It’s a bit informal, but we like it that way. Most people who come to us are friends of former clients. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
