Pal ENT

Up in Sector 17, in the housing society at 47/48, is where Pal ENT is based. It’s a fairly quiet spot, which is nice because it’s a medical office. We’ve got the usual waiting room with the old magazines and a couple of chairs that aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. The walls are a plain off-white and there’s that faint smell of antiseptic everywhere. We spend our days dealing with ears, noses, and throats. It’s a lot of looking into small spaces with those little flashlights. Sometimes the waiting room gets crowded and children are running around, while other times it’s completely silent. We try to keep the appointments on track, but things always seem to run a little behind. That’s just the way it goes when someone needs a bit more time or has a lot of questions. The staff here has been around for a while, so we know how to handle the paperwork and the insurance forms without thinking too much about it. It’s not a big hospital, just a local clinic where we see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood. We aren't trying to be fancy or modern. We just have the equipment we need and a desk to write notes at. It’s a steady pace of work, and we like being part of the community here in the society. We just do our work and go home.
