Ojha Mayank Architect

We’re over at House No. 216 in Sector 22-A. That’s where Ojha Mayank Architect operates from. It’s a residential area, so it’s pretty calm most of the time. We turned part of the house into an office space. It’s got a big table for maps and drawings. We don’t really like the atmosphere of those big corporate firms. Here, it’s just us. We can have the window open and hear what’s happening in the street. Sector 22-A is a nice place to be based. Most of our work comes from word of mouth. People know the house and they know we do architecture work. We spend a lot of time thinking about how to make spaces work better for folks. It’s not always about making things look fancy; it’s more about making them useful. We have a lot of books and old blueprints taking up shelf space. Sometimes the dog is hanging around the office while we work. It’s a relaxed setup. We don’t have set hours where we pretend to be busy. If there’s work, we do it. If it’s slow, we might spend the afternoon reading up on new building rules or something. We’ve been at this address for a long time. It’s home and it’s work. We like that the two are mixed together. It makes the day feel more natural and less like a chore. We aren't trying to build an empire, just some good buildings for people.
