You can find us at 254 in Industrial Area Phase-1. It’s a standard industrial block, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Nvr International is basically a hub of activity where we spend our time packing, shipping, and checking on exports. The concrete floors have seen a lot of boots over the years, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re more concerned with the work. The noise of the neighboring factories is something you just stop noticing after a few weeks. We have a small team, and we all wear different hats depending on what’s needed that day. If a container is late, we stay late. It’s a straightforward business without any of the fluff you see in big city offices. We deal with people from different places, but we still feel like a local shop at heart. The lunchroom is just a few chairs and a table where we share whatever we brought from home. We don’t have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just want to get through the day’s tasks without making any mistakes. It’s about being reliable and staying on top of the paperwork that comes with moving goods around. It’s not glamorous, but it keeps us busy and the families fed. When things get stressful, we usually just step out for a quick smoke or a tea and then get right back to the loading dock to finish the shipments.
