New Metro Motors

New Metro Motors is over in Sector 21, right at number 5. It’s a garage space where we spend most of the day with grease on our hands. The floor is concrete and has some oil stains that won't ever come out, no matter how much we scrub. We have a few lifts for the cars and a big toolbox that everyone shares. It’s loud because of the drills and the traffic from the main road. We started this place because we liked working on engines. Now it’s just our daily job. We have a small office in the back where we keep the paperwork, but it’s usually too hot to stay in there for long. Most of the time we are out front. We get all kinds of cars coming through. Some are falling apart and some are pretty new. We just tell people what’s wrong and see if they want it fixed. There’s a tea stall nearby that we go to when we have a break. The neighborhood has changed a lot since we moved in. More buildings are going up every year. We have a dog that hangs around the shop sometimes. He just sleeps in the shade under the cars and doesn't bother anyone. It’s not a fancy dealership, just a place to get your car looked at. We keep the old tires stacked in the corner until the scrap guy comes to pick them up.
