Naresh Kumar Nanda Architect

My office is set up right here at House Number 3077 in Sector 21-D. It's a convenient spot because I don't have to commute far, which means more time spent on the actual drawings. Being in this part of town for years has given me a good sense of how houses are built around here. I mostly deal with local projects. You'll often see me walking around the sector or heading out to a site nearby. It’s not a big firm with receptionists and all that. It’s just me doing the work. I handle the sketches, the site visits, and the paperwork too. Sometimes the table gets buried under blueprints, but I know where everything is. I’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. New houses going up, old ones getting renovated. I like being part of that process. When someone stops by, we usually just sit in the front room and look at some paper. It’s a straightforward way of working. I don't like overcomplicating things. Architecture is just about making a space work for the people living in it. I use a lot of pencils and rulers, the old-school way sometimes. It feels more real that way. If I'm not here, I'm probably at a construction site getting mud on my shoes. That's just how the job goes. Sector 21-D is a nice, settled area, and I’m glad to be working from here.
