About Nanda Parmodh Kumar Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Chandigarh
I run my practice out of H.No.922 in Sector 7B. It’s a decent neighborhood, and the house serves as a good base for my architectural work. Inside, it’s mostly what you’d expect—drafting tables, computers, and a lot of reference books. I have been doing this for years, so I’ve seen all sorts of projects come and go. Working from Sector 7B is convenient for me, and I like the pace of this part of town. The office is where I spend most of my hours, usually late into the evening if a deadline is coming up. It’s a simple setup at H.No.922. I don’t go for having a lot of fancy decorations. The walls are mostly covered with site photos and some old drawings I’m proud of. Clients usually come by to talk through their ideas, and we sit around the main table with a pot of tea. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, but we get the details sorted out. I spend plenty of time out on sites too, checking that the builders are following the plans correctly. Architecture is a lot of back-and-forth, and being here in Sector 7B makes it manageable. It’s just me and a couple of helpers trying to make sure every project we take on is handled properly without any unnecessary fuss or complicated overhead. There is always a lot to do.
